For our programme of workshops, events and masterclasses, each activity has three prices listed. The first is the standard price. The second is the concessionary rate. The third is for London Writers Network members.

For more information please read our Concessions Policy.

If you are unsure about which price you should pay, please contact us at [email protected] and we will assist you.

Terms of Payment

If you are unable to pay in full, we can in some circumstances accept instalments. Please contact us on [email protected] to discuss.

Cancellations and alterations

Each event, workshop or masterclass needs a minimum number of participants in order to run. We make the decision about whether we are going to run each activity approximately two weeks before it starts or happens. If we have to cancel a workshop due to minimum numbers not being met, a full refund, event transfer or credit note will be offered. If you are intending to book on to an event, workshop or masterclass, please make sure you do so in plenty of time, to help us avoid unnecessary cancellations.

All tickets are sold subject to Spread the Word’s right to make any alterations to the artists, tutors, venues, times, dates or other arrangements which are rendered necessary by a cause outside of Spread the Word’s reasonable control. Please note that where we have to make alterations, you do not have additional rights of cancellation and our standard terms still apply.

Refunds

Spread the Word does not permit tickets to be refunded after purchase, except where an event has been cancelled. Where monies are refunded, such refunds are limited to the face value of the tickets purchased.

EVENTS & WORKSHOPS

Changes to the advertised activities

All our programme details are correct at the time of publishing. We will inform attendees of any changes to the advertised programme as necessary. Writing workshops, masterclasses and events are dynamic activities, and as such, advertised content may occasionally be adapted to take account of the needs of the participants.

We will list changes on the website, and contact participants with details of any changes to their booked activities. It is a participant’s responsibility to confirm that they have the correct details of a booked activity before it begins.
