London Writers Network: Meet the Editors

From acquiring rights to choosing your branding, come and see how editors can make your work sing.

What do editors do? Are they simply responsible for crossing the t’s and dotting the i’s? Or can they support and champion debut writers?

Following on from our highly successful Meet the Agents session, the Meet the Editors panel of Emma Goldhawk (Hodder), Shreeta Shah (Penguin Random House), Tom Bonnick (Nosy Crow), Emad Akhtar (Orion) and Francesca Main (Picador) will give you an insight into the roles and responsibilities of editors at different stages of their careers and in different publishing companies.

The session is suitable for any writer with the goal of being published and people exploring careers in the publishing industry.

This event is free to attend for members of Spread the Word’s London Writers Network as part of their membership offer of access to two free London Writers Network events a year. The event is open to all and tickets are available for non-members to buy for £8.
