Whether it’s attacks to people’s rights here in the UK or atrocities on the other side of the world, writing for the times is daunting and overwhelming.

In this workshop, poet and writer Ellie Spirrett focuses on writing for the times, engaging with world news and processing the fast-paced, painful state of the world today. Learn to write in a way that keeps us safe and holds onto our own voice – whether you are new to writing or a seasoned and published poet.
