Over the course of four months, the elders participated in ten poetry workshops with award-winning poets Courtney Conrad and Keith Jarrett, three short story workshops with award-winning writer Leone Ross, an oral history workshop with Leone and Joan Anim-Addo and two gardening workshops with Coco Collective.
