Deptford Literature Festival COVID-19 Protocols

Deptford Literature Festival COVID-19 Protocols

As the COVID-19 situation stands, we anticipate that all in-person events at Deptford Literature Festival will go ahead as planned. Following the Government’s decision to end the majority of Covid measures, our policy will remain in line with our Festival venues. We want everyone to be able to visit Deptford Literature Festival comfortably and confidently so, while no longer a requirement, we continue to encourage:

 –  anyone displaying Covid-like symptoms not to attend the Festival, and

 – all attendees aged 16 and over to wear masks, except those that are exempt.

We continue to advise all Festival-goers aged 16 and over to take lateral flow tests in the 24 hours before attending events.

The facilitators for the Dissembling Nature workshop with Jamie Hale and The Ordinary is Extraordinary with Leone Ross are immunocompromised. So we ask that for these events, attendees wear masks unless exempt, and we encourage people to take a lateral flow test the morning of the Festival so we’re doing what we can to protect our facilitators.

We will review and update this guidance on an ongoing basis and will share any alterations with Festival goers by email before the Festival takes place.
