Lewisham Comedy Novices offers Lewisham residents aged 25+ (with priority places for Phoenix Community Housing residents) the chance to have a go at stand-up comedy via a series of FREE workshops led by professional comedian Bentley Browning.
The course will take place on Monday evenings (7-8.30pm) between 30 January to 13 March at The Fellowship Inn, Bellingham. Participants will learn pro comedy techniques, develop their comedy persona, develop a great 5 minute routine and have the thrill of a lifetime performing at a showcase gig on the final evening.
No experience required. This project is open to anyone aged 25+ who would like to try something new in a positive and encouraging environment, with priority given to Phoenix Community Housing residents
PLEASE NOTE: We only have limited places left available, and these are open to Phoenix Community Housing tenants, or residents of Phoenix Community Housing areas only.
