As part of our Nature Nurtures partnership with London Wildlife Trust, offering free nature and creative activities for young people aged 16 – 25 in London, Spread the Word will be supporting the Youth in Nature Celebration on Saturday 13 May starting at 5.30pm at Camley Street Nature Reserve in Kings Cross.
As part of the event, we’ll be launching the Nature Nurtures Anthology which features creative work and writing by 24 young Londoners celebrating and interrogating the theme of London’s nature. There’ll also be creative stations set in the midst of nature at Camley Street Natural Park from natural fabric dyeing and clay modelling, to practical conservation, collaging and painting with natural pigments. There will be poetry readings, guest speakers and a free food truck available throughout the event!
