Deptford Literature Festival Fringe Events – Lewisham Comedy Novices Showcase and TOKEN Magazine Anthology x Deptford Lit Fest Launch

In the lead up to this year’s Deptford Literature Festival on Saturday 18 March 2023, there are two free fringe events all are welcome to attend.

1. Lewisham Comedy Novices Showcase

Monday 13 March 2023, 7.00 – 8.30pm at The Fellowship Inn, Bellingham. Free.

Join us for a thrilling showcase of new stand up comedy by participants from the Lewisham Comedy Novices programme, hosted by comedian Bentley Browning.

Working with Phoenix Community Housing during January and February, Lewisham Comedy Novices invited local housing association residents and tenants the chance to try something new by giving stand-up comedy a go in a positive and encouraging environment via a series of workshops led by Bentley.

Come and support our Comedy Novices who will be performing their debut routines.
