This Is Our Place is a nature writing project – a partnership between Spread the Word and London Wildlife Trust. It exists to reimagine how we live in London and reflect on our individual and collective relationship to nature and place.
This Is Our Place writers-in-residence; Anita Sethi, Elspeth Wilson, Jackee Holder, LiLi K. Bright and Laura Barker, have created a nature writing pack for you to download and enjoy for free. The pack contains a series of inspiring readings and nature writing exercises for you to enjoy and complete wherever you are, whether you have access to outdoor space or not.
This pack has been designed to inspire you no matter what your experience with nature writing, and no matter what access you may, or may not have to nature.
This Is Our Place free in-person and online nature writing workshops take place in August 2021. You can take a look and book here. Londoners from backgrounds underrepresented in publishing who attend one of the in-person or online workshops can enter the This Is Our Place nature writing competition.
